Winter Snow.

Do ya'll understand the significance of what happened over 2,000 years ago when Jesus Christ was born?  God sent His only Son as a baby.  He gave us our Savior in the most fragile and helpless form possible.  Isn't that incredible?  God could have done absolutely anything, yet He chose to deliver salvation through the ultimate gift of an infant.  His birthday is coming up... let us not forget that He is the reason for our celebration.  Not the gifts.  Not the food.  Not our families.  Jesus Christ alone is the reason.

You could have come like a mighty storm, with all the strength of a hurricane
You could have come like a forest fire, with the power of Heaven in Your flame

But You came like a winter snow
You were quiet, soft, and slow
Falling from the sky in the night to the earth below

You could have swept in like a tidal wave, or in an ocean, to ravage our hearts
You could have come through like a roaring flood, to wipe away the things we've scarred

Oh but You came like a winter snow
You were quiet, soft, and slow
Falling from the sky in the night to the earth below

No, Your voice wasn't in a bush burning
No, Your voice wasn't in a rushing wind
It was still,
it was small,
it was hidden...

You came like a winter snow
You were quiet, soft, and slow
Falling from the sky in the night to the earth below

You came falling from the sky in the night to earth below
