Well, I'm finally getting settled being back at school for my (super) senior year, and for the first time in weeks I consciously decided to look at the myriad of colored post-it notes on my bulletin board. Encouragement flooded my heart when I began reading the quotes and Scripture I had written on them. For the last few days, I have been feeling misplaced and valueless, but the following words reminded me that God has me where I am doing what I am doing for a reason.
"He makes no mistakes, and has a place for each of us if we will only surrender to His call."
"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33
"A pure heart wills whatever God wills, no matter what the cost." -Elisabeth Elliot
"Do not turn away from the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart... be sure to fear the LORD and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you." 1 Samuel 12:20,24
"Wherever you are, be all there." -Jim Elliot
I hope that one of these have spoken to your heart today like they did mine. I pray that wherever you are and whatever God has you doing right now, that you would be fully present in that place, and that you would be fully yielding yourself to His will! Trust Him - He has placed you exactly where He wants you and has the greatest of adventures in store for you!
