Yesterday I was reminded of this simple truth: who you are is not determined by your name, your age, your job, your family, your education, your succeses, your failures, or your past. Your accomplishments do not paint your self-portrait. What you've done is not a direct reflection on who you are.
Who you are is determined solely by Whose you are. You are a child of God, a daughter or son of the Most High, a sinner redeemed only by the blood of Jesus Christ. You are His, and your true identity is found in Him alone.
