Proverbs 31: Grace.

Hey y'all!  First, I want to welcome all of my new followers!  I am incredibly thankful for the encouragement I've received from your comments, and I'm glad you're here!

We are back with the Proverbs 31 series, and today's post comes from Grace who blogs over at Love Poured Out.  I have come to truly appreciate Grace's heart and the way that it shows through her blog, so be sure to check it out after you read her post!

When I originally sat down to write this, I drew blank. I have read several books about the Proverbs 31 woman, but when I started to write about her and my own study of her, I couldn't get the words out.
I began to pray that the Lord would show me what to share, and he started to make me think of all the Proverbs 31 women I know...

These women are beautiful. Maybe not so much physically beautiful, but truly strength and honor are their clothing.

They aren't afraid of work. In fact, they are among the first to volunteer when something needs to be done.

Their homes are places of refuge from the storms of life. Not necessarily sparkling clean, but you feel the Lord's presence there.

They are the first people you want to call when you need prayer or encouragement.

They are always looking for ways to minister and spread the gospel.

They care for their husbands and children passionately.

These women are rare treasures like rubies or diamonds, but oh so much more valuable.

These are the women who are making the biggest impact on the world even though they may not be in an office or on a stage.

When I think of the woman I want to be 10 years from now, this is it.  I'm so, so, so grateful that the Lord placed them in my life.  These women inspire me more than they will ever know.

Lord, I pray for the one who is reading this. Father, help us to learn what womanhood is in your eyes. It is so different from what the world is tells us. Thank you for the godly women that encourage and inspire us. Help us to desire you more and more.
In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
