TRAVEL CREDIT CARDS

Here are some of my favorite credit cards that offer wonderful travel rewards and benefits. My go-to card is the Chase Sapphire Preferred (which has just a small annual fee in comparison to the Chase Reserve card) and, with it, I’ve used points to cover my last three international flights! A few other solid cards are Capital One Venture and Southwest Rapid Rewards.

TRAVEL GEAR

From luggage to packing cubes, here are a few of my favorite items that almost always accompany me when I travel:

Away Bigger Carry-On — Truly best suitcase ever, plus it comes with an incredible warranty. It meets carry-on size requirements for all U.S. (and most European) airlines and fits so much, especially when also using packing cubes! You can click here to save $20 on your next suitcase or bag.

Pro Packing Cubes — I *swear* by packing cubes, not only for compressing clothing to ultimately fit way more in your bag, but also for keeping it all organized.

Brevite Backpack — This is my go-to backpack for longer trips. It fits a ton, has a luggage carry-through slot, and is perfect for use as a "personal item" on the plane!

Madewell Crossbody Purse — Truly my best crossbody bag purchase ever. I use this purse every day, whether I’m home or traveling, and the zip top helps ensure your belongings will stay safe when out and about.

Fjallraven Kanken Backpack — This is my everyday backpack, a.k.a the one I use when I head out to a coffee shop to get some work done, and it’s also perfectly suited for shorter trips!

Birdie Personal Safety Alarm — This is a great device to have with you all the time, but is especially clutch when solo traveling.

Some other gear I love to travel with include foldable hangers, a silk sleeping mask, and a cable lock.

TRAVEL TECH

Here are the tech items I always have with me when I travel, no matter where I’m headed or how long my trip is:

Fujifilm x100v Camera — This is my favorite camera of all time, and I love it for both travel and everyday photos. It’s pricey but totally worth it!

Apple AirPods — I almost always have my AirPods with me, and especially love them while wandering around new cities.

Bose Noise Canceling Headphones — Worth the space they take in your bag, especially to block out noise on planes and trains.

Kindle Paperwhite — No better way to carry around hundreds of books without taking up any precious space in your bag.

Sony ZV-1 Camera —This is a great camera for both vlogging and snapping nice, high-quality photos while you travel.

A few more tech items I often travel with include a portable charger, a camera/phone tripod, and international plug adapters.
