"Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised." Romans 4:20-21

Oh, this verse has spoken to my heart before, but not in the way that it did a few days ago.  In this passage, Paul is writing to the Romans of Abraham's faith in the Lord in order to encourage them in their own faith, and I, too, am encouraged.  Lately I have found myself struggling with apathy, and apathy of the worst kind.  I have been disinterested, disengaged, and static in my faith.  I found myself not spending enough time in God's Word and I rarely sought after His guidance in prayer.  The worst part of it all is that I didn't do much about it.  I knew it was an attitude issue that simply needed change, but I did not seek to change it.
